I have FINALLY gone through the pictures we took at the beach. We didn't get as many as I would have liked because every time I brought the camera out Max immediately stopped what he was doing & took on a solemn stare or Libby would cry - it was just a disaster. So, we decided to take less pictures & just be in the moment. We were in Orange Beach, AL the towards the end of May. Thankfully the oil had not yet made it to the shore & the weather was beautiful the whole week.
Libby is a little pool baby, she didn't want the sand touching her, so that's why she's in the stroller here.
Max however, loved the sand & didn't care for the pool. So, he & Daddy did a lot of digging!
She loved being held in the waves, but she's a big girl, so that can't happen for long periods of time. Here she is "resting."

We had some friends that were at the beach the same time so we all went to dinner - sweet Bryce likes having her picture taken more than Max (his face cracks me up here).
This was my one & only time to try getting a "Christmas Card" picture while on vacation. Total waste of time!
