Dance

Libby takes a combination tap, ballet and tumbling class once a week.  Usually the parents have to sit outside the room, so it's hard to get photos through the glass wall, but here are a few from Family Watch Day.

The cowboy hat was not her fav accessory.  She pouted through this entire routine...

Libby Claire with a little pink hair

Libby had her hair cut the other day and each time we visit the salon, Miss Drew (the entire family sees her for hair cuts), does something cute with a braid, painting her hair, fun curls etc.  This day Libby chose pink strips.  It's subtle and washes right out, but Libby is certainly proud of it!

He turned 7 - what?!?!?!

Just last week, Max turned 7!  I can't believe how fast time is flying and I want it to SLOW DOWN N-O-W!!  We celebrated his birthday at Skyzone, which is an indoor trampoline park.  By cake and ice cream time they were all super sweaty and exhausted, but not so worn out that they couldn't chase each other around the room with party blowers.  Complete chaos!  I tried hard to get pictures of the boys all playing dodgeball (where they stayed most of the time), but they refused to stand still and smile.  Here are some of the highlights!

Smiles are so much better when you have food in your mouth!

Football

Max is playing flag football for the first time this year.  Last week he had his second game and he was awarded the game ball for Best Defensive Player. Scott and I couldn't have been prouder and Maxi was so excited!  Here are some pictures of him waiting for the coach to sign the ball!

Oliver

In July the kids and I spent a week in Kentucky visiting my parents.  My sister and her 10 month old baby, Oliver were in town too.  We had so much fun loving on this baby!  Libby especially enjoyed time with her cousin.  She would only take a bath, if he was getting in too and she had to brush his hair afterwards.  I looked forward to getting up every morning and having squeeze time with him.  We were all sad to tell him bye =(

Last Disney Post

Here are a few pictures from our last two days in Orlando, which we spent at Magic Kingdom.  Libby still had her punk princess hair the first day we were there and we also bumped into a classmate of Max's at Ariel's Under the Sea adventure.  We knew the Earle's were at the park that day too, so we had been texting each other to try and figure out where they were so we could visit a bit.  The kids were very excited to see their friends!  We also met Miranda from Brave.  Max would not take his picture with her, but he did want to participate in the bow and arrow shooting - that qualifies as cool.  Our last day in the park was pretty rainy, but it kept the crowds down and the kids thought ponchos were awesome!

Crystal Palace Lunch!

Yes, it's August 2nd and I am STILL posting about our Disney trip at the end of May.  We have done other things this summer, but nothing nearly as exciting as Disney World.  We've gone to the zoo, the pool, Kentucky, and bowling.  However, I probably haven't used anything other than the camera to capture those outings.  Which brings me back to Disney :-)  We had lunch at the Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom with Winnie the Pooh and his buddies.  Libby would only take a picture if one of us was holding her and put on quite the dramatic performance if a character got to close.  I could barely get her to the bathroom because she thought she would be accosted by a character on the way there.  She wears me out!

Downtown Disney

Memorial Day 2013 was spent in Hollywood Studios, which I have no pictures of.  We had planned to spend that morning at the pool, rest and then head to Downtown Disney for the evening.  Daddy decided that he and Max NEEDED to go to HS to ride Star Tours and the Woody's Shootout ride.  SO...we charged into the theme park right as it opened and jogged to through the place hitting up all the things we NEEDED to do.  At one point we even we split up so Libby and I could see the Disney Jr. characters Live on Stage and the boys could do Star Tours (twice).  We had lunch at Pizza Planet and then we were out of there.  So you can see that there was zero time for pictures to be taken!

After a little rest we went to Downtown Disney for the days main event.  Max and Daddy went to "the most amazing Lego Store ever", we had dinner at T.Rex restaurant (very cool, wery LOUD!) and Libby got the royal treatment at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.  Inside the boutique she met her personal fairy godmother and picked out her hairstyle.  Against my urging for something more precious, she chose the Punk Princess - WHAT?!?!!  The amount of hairspray used on this child's hair was insane.  She kept her hair and feathers all through Magic Kingdom the next day and the spray and glitter was starting to flake - so gross!  However, she loved it and wants to go back for a new style....Never satisfied!
